Terms of Booking – South Bound Travels

These Terms of Booking (“Terms”) govern your relationship with South Bound Travels (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and your participation in any travel bookings made through our services. By booking a trip with us, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Booking and Payments:

1.1 To secure your reservation, a deposit is required at the time of booking. The amount and due date of the deposit will be communicated to you during the booking process.

1.2 Full payment of the trip cost is due no later than 30 days prior to the departure date, unless otherwise specified. Failure to make the final payment may result in cancellation of your booking.

2. Cancellations and Refunds:

2.1 If you cancel your booking more than 30 days prior to the departure date, the deposit is refundable, less any non-refundable fees specified during booking.

2.2 Cancellations made within 30 days of the departure date are subject to a forfeiture of the entire deposit amount.

2.3 No refunds will be provided for no-shows or unused portions of the trip.

3. Travel Insurance:

3.1 It is the responsibility of each traveler to obtain comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, interruption, medical expenses, and other potential travel-related risks.

3.2 We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance at the time of booking to safeguard your investment and mitigate potential financial losses.

4. Changes to Bookings:

4.1 Changes to your booking, including changes to departure dates, accommodations, and other services, may be subject to additional fees and availability.

4.2 Any changes requested within 30 days of departure are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

5. Traveler Responsibilities:

5.1 You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary travel documents, including passports, visas, and any required health certificates.

5.2 You are responsible for complying with any local laws, regulations, and customs of the destinations visited.

6. Travel Itinerary:

6.1 While we make every effort to adhere to the proposed itineraries, circumstances beyond our control may require itinerary changes. We reserve the right to modify the itinerary as necessary, and we will make reasonable efforts to provide suitable alternatives.

7. Health and Fitness:

7.1 It is your responsibility to ensure that you are physically and medically fit for the chosen trip. Some trips may require a certain level of physical fitness.

8. Limitation of Liability:

8.1 South Bound Travels will not be liable for any injury, damage, loss, delay, or inconvenience caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, and transportation disruptions.

8.2 We are not responsible for any losses or expenses incurred due to delays or changes in travel plans.

9. Governing Law:

9.1 These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
